New Brewery Hearts

In Spring 2024 we launched a campaign to raise £12,000 so we can offer 1,200 free hours of creativity to those who need it the most in our community. Thanks to your support, we reached our target!

But we are not stopping there. We will continue to collect donations for New Brewery Hearts so that we can continue to provide vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our community with access to creativity.

We are all creative – but not everyone gets an opportunity to explore their creativity. New Brewery Hearts aims to change that.

Through the New Brewery Hearts scheme, we will offer fully funded places on our courses and workshops to those who need it the most but can afford it least.

Partnering with local front-line charities, we will reach those who need creativity, joy and wellbeing the most.

Being creative and taking part in creative workshops and courses can increase mental and physical wellbeing in astounding ways as well as reducing social isolation.

Just £10 enables an hour in the studios, so please give to our campaign.

What our bursary students say…

As a disabled person on benefits, I could never have afforded this experience, it’s made me feel worthy of something special. It’s made me feel someone believes in me.
I am passionate about ceramics – it fits in around my responsibilities as a single parent and my chronic health condition (ME). Pottery is the one bit of ‘me time’ I have every week and it keeps me sane. It challenges me and gives me a sense of achievement.
