In this workshop you will be invited to Stitch with Nature, using collected and foraged materials as embroidery embellishments. Katerina will introduce you to various hand-stitch techniques and methods of working with natural materials to create precious works of art on cloth.

Katerina will provide natural dyed silk for each participant to work on, but students are encouraged to bring their own fabrics to work on if they wish. Similarly bringing plants, leaves etc. you may find in the garden or on a local walk will add a personal touch to your work. This workshop is suitable for beginners, but some basic embroidery experience would be advantageous.

Participants will be able to take each stitch slowly and at a pace that naturally suits them.
