NewBreweryArts | Wallpaper Printing Masterclass

Join Justyna from Addicted to Patterns studio in this hands-on 2-day workshop to create a one-of-a-kind wallpaper.

In this small group class, Justyna will guide you through each of the steps at a gentle pace, ensuring you have all the time and support needed to design and print a beautiful 2 metre in length wallpaper panel. You will create a one-of-a-kind wallpaper while also learning basic block printing and four- way repeat pattern design techniques.

During the 2-days you will explore the mark making, experiment with forms and colours which will reflect your individual inspiration for the pattern. You will learn about the composition and rhythm, and you will be working with various scale lino blocks. You will develop the technical knowledge and skills required to prepare designs for print, explore various techniques of how to mix and apply inks and create patterns for a wallpaper decoration.

You will leave with a confidence in handling materials and equipment while creating images and developing them into a surface decoration.
