Following on from Jo’s ‘Adventures in Art Journalling’ course, ‘Further Adventures’ offers just that. More and new subjects, techniques and skills for developing highly creative, individualised art journal pages.

  • The focus is on drawing, increasing confidence in drawing, enjoying drawing and using it to reflect on and capture your life and the world around you.

Week 1 - Seasonal Sightings - Use drawing to help you notice and record the big and small changes each season brings.

Week 2 - On This Day - How many ways can we visually capture and represent our day? We’ll bring it all together with a focus on composition!

Week 3- Food For Thought - Baking, cooking, stacks of tins, mugs for coffee, cups of tea, store cupboard goodies and favourite recipes... We’ll explore them all with a focus on form and colour!

Week 4 - Tools of the Trade - What do you, or someone you know, do for work, as a hobby or interest? We'll use a range of tools and a focus on negative space to tell this story!
