Reflections are everywhere, from the obvious ones in water and on mirrors to the subtleness of light cast off shadows, in water, the colour of materials on skin.

These reflections are so exciting to an artist. Join Claire Sandars to investigate the world of light and darks in reflections…the masterclass will cover still life, landscape and some figure work.

Looking at various artist work and studying the most important aspects of capturing it well…ie value, how light and darks interplay.

Learn to look both at the big picture and the detail, make your brushwork count, mix interesting colours and make your paintings sing!
